♦ DAVE CLARKE (White Noise, UK)

Dave Clarke is a DJ with an anarchist streak a mile wide and punk in his soul. Technologically, he’s an early adopter with the studio to prove it, but he also embraces sounds outside the staunch electronic dance remit, from Nick Cave to Savages to old favourites Bauhaus. Such music informs his attitude as, using Serato on a 13” Macbook Pro Retina for his ruthlessly effective, fat-free club sets, he pushes the worldwide boundaries of what techno and electro can be.

After a break, recent years have seen him make his presence as a producer felt again, working with Dutch partner Mr Jones (Jonas Uittenbosch) as _Unsubscribe_ and dropping remixes ranging from John Foxx’s seminal synth-pop gem ‘Underpass’ to Gesaffelstein, Detroit Grand Pubas and Octave One. Not a week passes when he doesn’t live up to his nickname, the Baron of Techno, a moniker given him by the late, great BBC Radio DJ John Peel.

♦ TECHNASIA (Cadenza, FR)

Charles has a burning ambition to create music that transcends cultural barriers, and to captivate every audience. The proof of his success is in the list of clubs and festivals Technasia has played. Fans around the globe, from China, to Colombia, to the Czech Republic, know Technasia’s classic anthems including ‘Force’, ‘Oxide’ and ‘Evergreen’. And they know that every Technasia show takes the music to new heights.

When DJing, Charles always plays on three decks, showcasing the old-fashioned arts of cutting and scratching. Live, Technasia takes audiences on an unforgettable ride. Charles literally becomes a one-man band, playing keyboards, percussion and acoustic instruments. He even sings. Anything to create irresistible energy and atmosphere. “I want my audience having fun,” explains Siegling. “Not falling asleep, or going off to the bar for a beer.”

♦ NASTIA (Arma17, UKR)

Nastia is a Ukrainian girl and proud of it. The busiest DJ in her country's history, born to a small family in a tiny village. A talented girl without any musical education - Nastia. Already one of the best-known eastern European techno/house DJs, Nastia’s star is firmly in the ascendancy globally. Her style is to an extent adaptable, but she has a sound that is unmistakably her own. The last three years have been a whirlwind of gigs for Nastia. Her twilight techno, melancholic minimal, stripped-down ghetto funk and sustained house have been wowing crowds all around the world.

During the last 3 years she has been performing every weekend across Europe. Her secret is simple, she plays quality dance music with great taste. Her speciality is the energy she shares with people during her sets. Her name can be seen in the program of big music festivals, as well as in the line ups of the best underground clubs and events. Her name is on everyone's lips right now, because Nastia is rocketing for her goals with great passion and ambition.
